The only one built without the retractable landing gear. This lightens the aircraft to 1350 pounds empty weight (over 200 pounds lighter) Remarkable 1050 pound useful load. This is a 4-place aircraft although I do not have the rear seats.
It does have detachable beaching gear that removes in a matter of minutes by removing the 3 quick pins on each main gear upon launching and comes with a light duty tow bar for launching. This A/C spent the first 27 years with one owner in Canadian fresh water until 1997 then it was brought back to the US in eastern Washington where second owner acquired it in 2002 and sold it in 4/2007 to me. 130 MPH at approx. 9 gal/hr.
